The Seamstress Shop is an award winning, female-owned business whose mission is to create the highest quality custom sewing projects, with an eco-friendly focus, for our designers and clients. We pride ourselves in offering the highest quality materials — from embroidered linen to high-performance fabrics — while supporting other American-based companies for custom hardware and premium textiles.

Throughout the years we have provided our talents to prep schools, restaurants, local businesses, corporations, and country clubs. We proudly work with The Massachusetts Historical Society and The Nichols House Museum on Beacon Hill Boston. At the Eustis Estate in Milton, MA, one of the 37 historic buildings and homes overseen by Historic New England, you can see our historically accurate draperies, window seat cushions, pillows, bedding, and slipcovers — some of which have appeared in Yankee Magazine and on Boston's Channel 5 Chronicle! We also had the privilege of completing a beautiful handsewn, elaborately trimmed, 17’ drapery project for Beauport, the Sleeper McCann House in Gloucester MA, the beloved home of Henry Davis Sleeper, one of America’s first professional interior designers.
